Ebay remove offensive T-shirts which mock Harvey Price

Ebay has been forced to remove offensive merchandise mocking Katie Price’s disabled son Harvey.

Products including t-shirts and mugs were listed on the popular site branded with a phrase 15-year-old Harvey said on television last year.

He appeared on ITV afternoon chat show Loose Women alongside his mother to talk about internet trolls.

Price asked Harvey how he would respond if someone said something horrible to him and he replied: ‘Hello, you ****’.

The video went viral with hundreds speaking out in support of Harvey for showing courage against his online bullies.

But conversely cruel social media users used the comments to poke fun at the disabled youngster.

Just last month, England cricketer Ben Stokes was forced to apologise after he was filmed mimicking Harvey’s phrase in a Snapchat video.

A shirt and a mug showing the blind teenager, who suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome and is also on the autistic spectrum, were put up for sale on eBay.

The seller, who went under the name rooby3333, advertised the shirts for £13.99 while the mugs were on sale for £8.99.

The online auction site has now removed both items.

An eBay spokesman said: ‘While we loved Harvey standing up to his bullies, unfortunately these items aren’t allowed on eBay because of offensive language printed on them.

‘We have removed these items and we will contact the seller on this.’

When asked about his products the seller said: ‘It depends which way you look at it at the end of the day.

‘He [Harvey] responded to a question regarding his haters and trolls, and I think he did a great job. As for being offensive, not at all.’

Price launched an online petition earlier this year in a bid to make internet bullying a criminal offence.

The petition was signed by an extraordinary 221,914 people before it was closed.

The TV personality had previously spoken about some of the insults that had been directed at her son and made her determined to do all she can to stamp it out.

The mother of five has not made any comment regarding the t-shirt.
