A mom who strangled her 9-year-old son to death on Halloween was found by police with cloves of garlic, two lighters and a vial of holy water.
Amber James, 47, murdered Ryan Rosales after watching conspiracy videos on YouTube and earlier that week called 911 complaining she was being followed by cars and airplanes.
After she was arrested by police at her home in Seabeck, Washington, she told detectives she had used the water ‘to say a prayer for my baby’.

The boy’s father was taking a shower when he ran downstairs after smelling gas and found his son lying unresponsive in the kitchen where all the stoves were on.
He confronted James, who had scratches on her neck from when her son had tried to fight back. Attempts to revive the child failed.
James was taken away for a mental health evaluation where she confessed to killing the child, saying ‘she needed to save her son from people that were after us’.
The mom had been watching conspiracy videos on YouTube about politics and chemtrails, according to Q13Fox .

Police also found messages on her son’s bedroom wall saying ‘Greed kills’, ‘No pedo’, ‘God is coming’ and ‘Michael=Devil’.
James has been charged with second degree murder and is being held in Kitsap County jail.
She appeared in court on Wednesday and is expected to attend again today.
Court documents said she was taking medication for anxiety but did not have a diagnosed mental health disorder.
A GoFundMe page was set up to help with the bills for Ryan’s funeral.
