Khloe Kardashian announces open casting winners that will model for her brand Good American

Khloe Kardashian’s Good American denim brand announced its fifth annual roster of models called the Good Squad.

The reality star, 38, shared a video of the process that got underway last October to her Instagram on Friday. 

‘Meet the 2023 #GOODSQUAD!!!!! Seven ladies who are the definition of sexy, confident and strong. welcome to the squad.’ she captioned the footage. 

In the recording, the mother-of-two – who clapped back at a fan who asked her if she missed her old face –  and her Good American co-founder Emma Grede talked about the expansive model search.

‘We’ve had so many open casting calls and so many of our girls have exploded into these incredible models and they’re on billboards and commercials and some of them are on the cover of Vogue and work for huge brands,’ Khloe marveled.

The clip cuts to  a woman in the backseat of a car, who excitedly tells the camera, ‘I got tipped off this morning. I was told there was a billboard of me in Hollywood.’

The car arrives at the location of the billboard and she gets out and looks at it and says, ‘Dreams do come true they do, they really really do.’ 

‘Who would have ever thought a curvy Latina would be on a billboard in Hollywood? So, don’t give up on your dreams,’ she gushed.

As the video goes on, Khloe talks about the characteristics of a Good Squad girl and looks over hundreds of photos. 

‘These are the girls who showed up and showed us who they were,’ The Kardashians star said. 

Emma said, ‘It’s so hard because I see so much in so many of these women, so much of myself in them.’ 

‘Who is going to have the best chance at having a meaningful career, who is going to have the best chance and who is going to make it work?’ the British businesswoman, 41, asked.

The model search started last fall. Women interested in the opportunity were asked to join the so-called #GoodSquad through the brand’s website by uploading two images. a video and answering a questionnaire. 

Interested women were also able to apply in person during the open casting calls that took place in London, New York, Atlanta and Los Angeles.

As Khloe and Emma talk to a handful of women, they reveal to them that they’ve made the 2023 Good Squad. 

This announcement comes after the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum made headlines earlier this week for clapping back at people who asked her if she missed her ‘old face.’ 

The reality star posted a gym video Wednesday that gave fans a close-up look at her smooth complexion and world-famous mega-pout.

When one of the commenters snidely asked her: ‘Do you miss your old face?’ however, Khloe responded: ‘No.’

Almost two years ago on the Keeping Up With The Kardashians finale special Khloe insisted that the only plastic surgery she has ever had was a nose job.

‘I’ve had one nose job – Dr. Raj Kanodia,’ she told Andy Cohen, who was hosting the Final Curtain specials that closed out the series.

Fans have watched her figure evolve over the years, including with a stunning weight loss journey that led her to host a show called Revenge Body With Khloe Kardashian.

Rumors have been swirling about various cosmetic procedures she is said to have had done, with a particular focus on her rear end.

She has always denied having her behind augmented, writing on social media years ago: ‘Sorry 2disappoint…. I’ve always had an a**. I know it’s more fun 2believe it’s not real, kind of a compliment since I kill myself in the gym.’
