Taylor Swift’s much-anticipated Eras tour kicked off in Arizona earlier this month, with the country-turned-pop star showcasing an incredible stable of dazzling outfits.
In her collection of tour outfits, she has a midnight blue bodysuit from Oscar de la Renta that took 315 hours to construct, and had more than 5,300 crystals and beads hand sewn onto the bodice.
The embroidery work alone would have cost about $2,800, one embroiderer, who has worked with celebrity designers, told DailyMail.com.
Another ‘one of a kind creation’ from Nicole + Felicia used more than 200,000 sequins and crystals.

Keeping on the theme of sweeping gowns, Zuhair Murad also collaborated with the You Belong With Me singer to create a custom design that involved more than 350 hours of atelier handwork.
A bridal gown from the luxury fashion house has a price range of $9,000 to $20,000, but it would have cost much more for this bespoke look.
But whether or not the singer had to fork out for her lavish wardrobe is unknown.
One costume designer, who has worked on a number of high-profile tours, told DailyMail.com stars usually didn’t have to pay for clothes made by designers.
‘It is beneficial for the talent to have a connection to a designer to tie in the value of their brand,’ she said.
‘In other words, you get a gorgeous designer gown and what is paid is [the talent’s] value rather than monetary payment.’
As Taylor’s US crusade continues, FEMAIL breaks down some of the most elaborate looks worn by the Anti-Hero songstress during the opening week of her tour.

The 33-year-old superstar wore two custom-made outfits from the famed fashion house.
Her first was a midnight blue bodysuit that took 315 hours to construct.
More than 5,300 crystals and beads were handsewn onto the bodice and the ‘fringe necklaces’ were ‘draped delicately to catch the light,’ the luxury brand wrote on Instagram.
Oscar de la Renta also shared a sketch of the ‘Our Kind Of Midnight’ bodysuit by co-creative directors Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia.

An embroiderer who has worked with celebrity designers told DailyMail.com that the embroidery would have been done in India and the work would have cost about $2,800 plus the cost of materials.
The second Oscar de le Renta design she wore was an Aurora Borealis sequined T-shirt paired with a lavender faux fur coat that featured crystal embroidery.
The color-coordination was a nod to the song she was performing while wearing the sparkling creation: Lavender Haze.
