The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’s Rachel Brosnahan shows legs in eccentric plaid look at Saks Fifth Avenue

The first three episodes of the fifth and final season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel dropped on Friday and Rachel Brosnahan led the cast in celebrating with a takeover of her character Midge’s favorite store – Saks Fifth Avenue.

After starting their day off by ringing the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange, the cast headed over to the Miracle Mile as part of Amazon Prime’s Masiel Tov campaign.

The streamer took over not just Saks, but a whole mile of the iconic street, rolling out the pink carpet and transforming it into scenes from the iconic moments of the series.

Brosnahan, 32, looked pretty in a unique red, white, black and pink plaid look featuring a Catholic schoolgirl style skirt with an asymmetrical hemline, a cropped white button-down shirt that displayed a hint of her tummy, a plaid tie and a blazer with elbow-length sleeves.

One side and one sleeve – on opposite sides – appeared to be the fabric turned inside out. The actress paired the look with white crew socks and black, high-heeled booties.

During an earlier appearance on the Today Show, Rachel talked about what she learned from playing the housewife turned comedian.

‘That nobody else can believe in you if you don’t believe in yourself,’ she said.

‘I learned that I could do things I never thought I could working on this show,’ the Blacklist actress added. ‘So I hope I can hold on to a tiny bit of that as we move on from this chapter.’

‘It was all the things,’ Rachel told ET. ‘I was so intimidated because we haven’t worked together since we met, ten years ago I guess now, so I was really nervous for him to actually see me doing this up close, and come into my world, but it was amazing.’

‘When we were shooting the show, we spend more time with our crew and with the cast than we do with our families sometimes, so, it was amazing to have him on,’ she added.

Ralph first played Mike Carr during season four and is a series regular in the fifth and final season.

Rachel playfully called the animosity between their onscreen characters ‘therapy.’

‘We got to be so mean to each other at work and call it a job,’ she said. ‘We had a lot of fun.’
