Derby Day punters have wrenched open train doors and walked across train tracks after delays left racegoers ‘spewing and passing out’ in carriages.
Delays on the Flemington-Craigieburn line left passengers ‘stuck like sardines’ on Saturday after the Melbourne race day.
Impatient passengers were pictured jumping out of trains and walking across the tracks to escape the carriages.

Fed up passengers took to social media on Saturday afternoon to vent their frustrations with the service.

Metro Trains said the delays were caused by a train fault and trespassers near the tracks.
