Woolworths announce recall on product sold at supermarkets in NSW and QLD

Supermarket giant Woolworths issues an urgent recall issued for popular deli product

An urgent recall has been issued for a deli favourite after the wrong meat was placed in its packaging.

The recall for Gotzinger Wood Smoked Kabana 400g, which was sold at Woolworths, IGA and Drakes stores across Queensland, was issued this week.

The product may also have been available for purchase at Woolworths stores in northern New South Wales.

Cheese kranskies have been found in the packaging for the smoked kabana product, prompting fears they could be consumed by those who have allergies that are not noted on the packaging.
