Colin Farrell’s title character was seemingly getting ready for the weekend, stocking up on booze in photos from the set of Max’s The Penguin.
The 46-year-old Irish actor reprises his role from his 2022 blockbuster The Batman, with the first look at the character released last week during Warner Bros. Discovery’s unveiling of the rebranded Max streaming service (previously HBO Max).
Farrell was spotted carrying a crate of liquor out of a building as he filmed scenes in New York City for the upcoming series.
He was also spotted filming with co-stars Cristin Milioti, who plays Sofia Falcone, and Rhenzy Feliz, who was reported in February to be playing The Penguin’s driver.
The series will continue the story began in director Matt Reeves’ The Batman, showing the full transformation of Oswald Cobbelpot to the notorious criminal who would become known as The Penguin.
