Carrie Johnson threw her toddler son Wilfred a fireman-themed birthday party over the weekend – and she and her husband Boris even dressed up for the big event.
The ex-prime minster’s wife, 35, took to Instagram to post stories of Wilfred – who turned three this weekend – dressed up emergency services uniform, clad with a helmet and badge.
And it was clear to see where the inspiration for the theme came from, as he was also pictured blowing out the candles with a Fireman Sam cake.
Other shots showed Wilfred enjoying his celebrations in a ball pit and on rocking horses.
Carrie also shared a fun selfie of herself in fireman gear to get into the celebratory spirit, as well as her husband Boris, 58, who posed in his outfit next to Amanda Frolich – a well known celebrity children’s entertainer.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, the media consultant shared a heartwarming tribute to her son Wilfred on his birthday by posting a series of photographs of her eldest child.
The adorable selection included him running on a sandy beach, to a never-before-seen family picture on board a yacht.
She later gave a glimpse of what the three-year-old got up to on his birthday, posting pictures to her Instagram story of Wilfred feeding animals at a farm.
In the caption of her post, she wrote: ‘Happy third birthday darling Wilfy. The kindest, most loving boy.
‘Always cheery, you make things so much fun. We are so lucky.’
Wilfred is Carrie’s eldest child with Boris – the pair also share daughter Romy, one.
This month has been a busy one for the Johnson family, who were recently enjoying a family holiday in South Carolina.
The mother-of-two posted a number of photographs of the trip to her 64,600 Instagram followers, including images of the family on the beach.

She also posted a number of snaps of her three-year-old son and one-year-old daughter as they enjoyed the wildlife on Kiawah Island in the south-eastern US.
While Wilfred has inherited his father Boris’s impressive blond locks, Romy appears to have taken after her mother, with a mop of dirty blonde curls.
The family were believed to have been on holiday for about a week, with Carrie sharing a number of snaps from South Carolina in the past few days.
Boris was scheduled to speak at a low-key corporate conference in Kiawah Island Golf Resort at the time, so it is possible the family joined him for an extended break.
Snaps showed Wilfred waving at a fire engine, while another photo featured Carrie enjoying a stroll down the beach with her daughter Romy.

As well as dressing up, the children got to enjoy a ball pit and other toys as they took part in the festivities
Wilfred’s birthday cake featured Sam – a famous cartoon character who is also a fireman – evidently the inspiration behind his party
Wilfred was also snapped tucking into an ice cream covered with sprinkles, and toddling along wearing a cardigan emblazoned with his name across the back.
Earlier in April, Carrie shared another load of images from the trip, including a mirror selfie that showed her posing in a floaty, white, tiered, button-down dress by Carole Bamford.
Tagging the designer, she captioned the post: ‘The perfect, throw-on holiday dress.’
Embracing her natural curls, Carrie finished off her look with a simple gold pendant necklace and burgundy sliders.
Wilfred was seen happily running past his mother in the image.
