Tia Kabir Bali holidaymaker hit by vile abuse after revealing tattoo nightmare

Bali holidaymaker, 19, who burst into tears in the street after her ‘dream’ tattoo went wrong is hit with vile abuse – as she reveals her fixed ink

  • Tia Kabir, 19, has been slammed with hurtful comments from strangers
  • The young beauty hit back at trolls following a tattoo nightmare

When Tia Kabir, 19, filmed herself sobbing in the street in Bali after seeing her tattoo for the first time she never expected the clip to ‘go viral’.

She’s since revealed the tattoo has been ‘fixed’ and become the target of cruel bullies who have called her ignorant, made comments about her appearance and slammed her for being an OnlyFans model.

Earlier this month the young woman from Canberra, flew to Bali to get ‘Angel Energy’ inked on her forearm, but was instead left with ‘Energy Angel’ by mistake.

She shared the tattoo fail on TikTok in the now famous video which was seen by more than 3.8million people.

And while most people felt for the young holiday maker, not everyone was so nice about her misfortune.

Many have called Tia ‘liar’ and dubbed the situation as ‘fake’ while others stringed together racial slurs.

‘My response to this hate is that this [reaction] is 100 per cent genuine. In moments like this, it would often be reasonable to keep situations private, but as an influencer it’s important as my role to keep people updated with everything I go through,’ Tia told FEMAIL.

Now she's copped hurtful comments over the incident

Now she’s copped hurtful comments over the incident

On TikTok, one person called Tia out for saying she ‘doesn’t get tattoos all the time, only every few months’ while sobbing on the street.

Others questioned why she ‘didn’t check the stencil’ before being inked.

‘You have tattoos already, how would you not know to look before they tattoo it?’ one wrote.

Despite having the stencil drawn three times, the tattooist still got it wrong.

‘The size was incorrect the first time, second was the spacing and then the third it somehow swapped the other way,’ Tia told FEMAIL, adding: ‘I was not paying attention to the tattoo as I’m soft when it comes to needles and looked away the whole time.’

On Instagram one racist man commented on Tia’s nationality and wrote: ‘I’ve never even been to Australia but I know she ain’t an Australian.’

But Tia hit back and said: ‘First of all you don’t know how to spell. Secondly, skin colour has nothing to do with a residency of nationality. You can be born [in] any part of the world and you will be identified as part of that country.’

While Tia didn't receive a refund, the tattoo artist managed to modify the text and it now reads 'Energy of an Angel'

The brunette beauty, who makes a living by making content for OnlyFans, said she wanted a ‘powerful tattoo’ to symbolise everything she’s copped being in the social media spotlight.

‘I’ve always wanted Angel Energy on my arm as I believe through everything I have been through in the negative to becoming the influencer I am now, that I can leave a good spirit imprinted on my body as well as sending a message to others who read it,’ she said.

After seeing the end result, she ‘instantly broke down in tears’ and the staff apologised for the mistake.

The tattoo itself cost her around 1.35million Indonesian Rupiah – about $150 AUD – but she didn’t receive a refund.

Instead the tattoo artist managed to modify the text and it now reads ‘Energy of an Angel’.

After her TikTok video went viral, Tia posted a follow-up clip explaining what happened next.

‘Yes, it’s fixed now. Thank God. Thank you to the people who sent me a lot of love. I got unconditional love on my Instagram, TikTok and other platform,’ she said.

And she also addressed the ‘haters’ by poking out her tongue.
