Yankees manager Aaron Boone continued his team’s feud with the Toronto Blue Jays Tuesday, while Domingo German landed New York with more allegations to handle.
Captain Aaron Judge came under fire from cheating allegations after he appeared to glimpse at his New York Yankees dugout for what they believe were indications on what pitch was going to come at him in Monday’s game.
The Blue Jays contacted MLB Tuesday and are apparently scrutinizing where Yankees base coaches were positioned.
‘There’s boxes on the field for a reason,’ Blue Jays manager John Schnieder said.
Boone appeared to call the Blue Jays out as hypocrites in Game 2 of the series, immediately after Toronto’s claim to MLB.

Domingo German landed New York with more allegations to handle after being ejected
The Yankees manager was seen stood at the edge of the New York dugout when he began calling out to plate umpire James Hoye and gesturing towards the Toronto box.
The broadcast then panned over to show the Blue Jays third base coach clearly outside of the box. The same thing Toronto had taken issue with just hours earlier.
The Yankees couldn’t take the high road with another incident during the game, however.
Pitcher German escaped a sticky-substance ejection last month but couldn’t get out of another Tuesday night.
German had retired all nine Blue Jays batters he faced on 37 pitches, but before he could take the mound for the bottom of the fourth inning, he was intercepted by the umpires.
They spent a while feeling his right hand and checking his glove for a suspected illegal substance before convening to discuss their findings.
Their findings landed German with an ejection, which also comes with an automatic 10-game suspension and means the Yankees cannot replace him on the roster.
‘The instant I looked at his hand, it was extremely shiny and extremely sticky,’ the crew chief told a pool reporter after the Yankees beat Toronto 6-3 on Tuesday night. ‘It’s the stickiest hand I’ve ever felt. My fingers had a hard time coming off his palm.’

German denied Hoye’s accusation, saying he didn’t have anything on his hand other than rosin.
‘It was definitely just the rosin bag,’ German said through a translator. ‘It was sweat and the rosin bag. I don’t need any extra help to grab the baseball.’
The umpire crew, led by chief Hoye, was the same one that took issue with German’s sticky hand on April 15 at Yankees Stadium.
In that case, German was allowed to stay in the game, despite being asked to remove rosin after the top of the third inning and still having some on his pinky finger to start the fourth.
German was not afforded that mercy Tuesday with Ian Hamilton forced to come on to replace him as the Yankees led 2-0.
However, Hamilton was forced to leave the game with right groin tightness.

While the ejection isn’t a great look for the Yankees, they doubled down on their claim that Judge was not in the wrong Tuesday.
Monday, the Yankees slugger looked sideways for a moment before driving a 114.9 mph scorcher off right-hander Jay Jackson.
Judge said he was trying to identify which of his Yankees teammates was yelling at plate umpire Clint Vondrak when he peeked into his own dugout before hitting a 462-foot home run in Toronto on Monday night.
‘There was kind of a lot of chirping from our dugout, which I really didn’t like in the situation,’ Judge said. New York led 6-0 at the time and then went on to win 7-4.
Toronto’s broadcasters noticed Judge peeking into his own dugout before his homer and speculated he was looking for some kind of signal.
After peeking to the bench, Judge belted a 462-foot home run with a 114.9 mph exit velocity
Dan Shulman and Buck Martinez, the Blue Jays’ veteran broadcast team on Sportsnet, replayed the incident and questioned where Judge’s eyes were wondering off to.
‘What is that? Where is he looking?’ Shulman said on the live broadcast. ‘And he did it more than once. Did you see what I saw? You don’t want to go throwing allegations without knowing, but…’
Judge then blasted his second home run ‘a country mile’, in Shulman’s own words.
Three pitches earlier, Vondrak ejected Boone for arguing a low strike call to Judge. Boone came out of the dugout to vent at Vondrak and crew chief Hoye.
Judge said some of his teammates were still voicing their displeasure off the back of the Boone row as his at-bat continued.

It was that which Judge said caught his attention moments before he hit his huge home run
‘I feel like after the manager does his thing it’s like, ‘Fellas, our pitcher has still got to go out there and make some pitches. We’ve got the lead, let’s just go to work here,” Judge said.
‘I said a couple of things to some guys in the dugout and especially after the game. Hopefully it won’t happen again.’
A displeased Judge also commented on the Blue Jay’s commentary team ahead of the game Tuesday.
‘I’ve got some choice words about that, but I’m just going to keep that off the record,’ Judge said before Tuesday night´s game.
‘I’m not happy about it, but people can say what they want,’ he added.
‘I’ve still got a game to play, I’ve got things I’ve got to do. I told you guys what happened and everybody else can make their own story about it if they want.’
