‘Deeply disturbing’ new Broadway play is leaving audiences TERRIFIED

Broadway fans are billing a new ‘dark and twisted’ play as ‘deeply disturbing,’ with one audience member saying they were ‘scared out of my seat.’

The terrifying show, which is currently in previews, stars Roseanne alum Laura Metcalf and She Hulk actress Tatiana Maslany.

It tells the story of a couple who are forced to stay at an isolated cabin after their car crashes in the mountains.

At first, the cabin’s residents are welcoming of their new guests, but their stay stretches out over several days as they remain trapped by a blizzard.

The new Broadway play, Grey House, is causing quite a stir even before it opens, with fans describing it as ‘deeply disturbing’ and ‘dark and twisted’

Soon the couple start to notice things are amiss with their hosts and their temporary home.

Over the weeks leading up to opening night on May 30, Broadway lovers have been heading to New York City’s Lyceum Theater for previews of the play.

And it’s left people creeped out and terrified.

‘Grey House is the first horror play I’ve ever seen. It’s creepy and very funny. Highly recommended for all horror hounds! Laurie Metcalf, Tatiana Maslany, and Paul Sparks are great in it,’ one person wrote on Twitter.

‘As a huge horror fan, this show was one of my most anticipated and… WOW. GREY HOUSE had me jolting in my seat, but more so pondering the themes and show as a whole (not a bad thing!). Definitely unique and thought-provoking… and a little bit terrifying!’ another added.

‘My favorite part of seeing Grey House on Broadway yesterday was hearing the guy sitting next to me mutter, “What the F***?!” during a pivotal scene,’ a third comment read.

‘First time being scared out of my seat at a Broadway play lol Grey House was pretty wild. Tatiana Maslany, Laurie Metcalf, Sophia Anna Caruso freaking killed it… some of them literally,’ one fan wrote.

Someone else on Twitter described it as ‘very creepy.’

However, a terrifying chain of events is unleashed when a mysterious person from her past re-enters her life.

One posted: ‘It’s literally the only movie I have rented and then refused to finish. It’s also the only movie I want to send to hell in the express lane.’

‘We turned on Soft & Quiet and I did not think this movie was gonna be like this… I’m highly disturbed.’
