Shopper notices ‘creepy’ detail in popular Kmart print: ‘I can’t unsee it’

  • Mum noticed eerie detail in a floral print from Kmart
  • One of the pink and red petals looks like a man’s face
  • Several customers had mixed emotions about the ‘discovery’

An eagle-eyed mum has spotted a ‘creepy’ detail in a floral print she purchased from Kmart.

The artwork depicts a floral tree with pink and red flowers and green leaves – but upon closer inspection, and with a little imagination, something else can be seen.

‘I have this on my wall and I constantly feel like 100 little faces are looking at me,’ one woman claimed.

And many agreed, saying they see bearded men in the petals.

The huge conversation about the budget print was sparked when a mum shared a photo of the art on a popular Facebook group: ‘Once I saw this I couldn’t unsee it.’

Can you see the faces in the petals?

Following the post, some customers who own the print went to inspect it for themselves.

One commented: ‘I thought you may be able to turn upside-down or sideways and it would be ok, but no, they are everywhere.’

But others didn’t understand what all the fuss was about and admitted they can’t see anything at all.

‘I still can’t see it,’ one wrote, a second said: ‘What do you see?’

‘I couldn’t see it either,’ a third mentioned.

This isn’t the first time customers have noticed an eerie detail while browsing the shelves at Kmart.

Ranjani, from Brisbane, shared a photo of her Kmart Clock Radio ($25) reading ’07:64′ A.M. on a popular Facebook group.

A clever commenter revealed that the digital clock was set to the decimal system by default – meaning that ’07:64′ meant it was actually ’07:38′ A.M. or 38 minutes past 7 o’clock in the morning.

But the clock was simply broken for several other buyers – with the dais reading ‘incredulous’ times like ’31:42′ and ’28:70′.

Many shared similar photos of their Kmart clocks ‘malfunctioning’ while displaying inaccurate times.
