Huma Abedin braved the autumn chill in a colorful mink vest while dropping her son off at school on Wednesday morning.
The 41-year-old drove her five-year-old son Jordan to school in a red SUV and parked the vehicle on a New York City street before getting out and walking him the rest of the way.
Abedin, a longtime Clinton aide, looked chic in a dark skirt suit featuring a peplum jacket, and she topped her outfit with $1,330 patchwork fur gilet by Alice + Olivia for one of her first school runs as a single mom.

For her latest school run, Abedin sported a pair of oversize sunglasses to shield her eyes from the morning sun, and she held her little boy’s hand as they made their way to his school.
The political staffer accessorized her outfit with a pair of tan pumps and a large leather carryall bag, which she held in one hand.

Weiner’s imprisonment marks the end of a long descent for the former political star, whose compulsive sexting habit and repeated scandals wrecked his congressional career, his promising campaign for New York City mayor, and his marriage to Hillary Clinton’s closest aide.
Weiner’s conduct ultimately caught the attention of federal authorities after DailyMail.com first revealed last September Weiner’s secret sexting relationship with a 15-year-old girl.
Abedin filed for divorce from Weiner in May on the same day he pleaded guilty to sexting with a minor.
Before Weiner was sentenced, Abedin wrote a letter as part of the case asking for mercy as she begged for the judge’s sentencing not to have a ‘negative impact’ on their son.
She told authorities she was ‘devastated’ by the actions of her husband of seven years, and pointed out she was writing the letter for the benefit of their son, whom she called ‘the light of our life.’
