The worst dressed from Oaks Day 2017

The fashion bar was set high for Kennedy Oaks Day at the Flemington Racecourse’s Birdcage.

Traditionally known as Ladies Day, celebrities rolled through the entrance into the private marquees on Thursday morning.

However, while some were dressed to the nines and looked absolutely impeccable, others stood out for all the wrong reasons.

Here, FEMAIL looks at some of the worst-dressed celebrities from the day.

Topping the list was Australian singer, Kate Ceberano, whose unfortunate turn in a maroon-coloured strapless dress and yellow shrug was quite a sight to behold.

Elsewhere, Bec Hewitt opted for a multi-coloured floaty dress by Sass & Bide, that seemed to swamp her svelte figure.

The former actress paired this with bright orange heels, statement costume-inspired earrings and a boxy clutch bag. She also opted for a fascinator by MatchoSuba the Label.
