Queen Maxima arrives for a meeting in São Paulo on first day of three-day trip to Brazil

Queen Maxima of the Netherlands made a very elegant entrance as she arrived for a business lunch in São Paulo today.

The Dutch royal, 52, met with banks including Santander, PicPay, and Banco Itau to discuss financial empowerment on the first engagement of what will be a three-day visit to Brazil.

For the occasion, she donned a stylish blush pink blouse with a matching striped skirt.

Maxima is visiting Brazil as part of her role as Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Financial Inclusion and Development.

This comes as the mother-of-three was just in Jordan to attend the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein last week.

For her day out in São Paulo, the stylish royal opted for the blouse and wore it with a matching striped pleated midi skirt with shades of pink, blue, yellow and orange.

She paired the look with coral pink slip-on heels and an off-white clutch bag. She added a pop of bling with large red studded earrings that looked like rubies.

Her blonde locks were styled straight into a neat blowdry, and the Dutch royal donned a glamourous day makeup with a strong trait of eyeliner bringing some drama to the eye, with a dash of bronzer to enhance her natural glow.

The mother-of-three, who travelled to Brazil solo, looked relaxed and well-rested as she stepped out ahead of a day filled with engagements.

Upon her arrival, she sat down with the different banks’ representatives for a talk on financial inclusivity and empowerment over a welcome lunch.

Queen Máxima of The Netherlands has served as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development (UNSGSA) since 2009.

She was appointed by former Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and in this role is a leading global voice on advancing universal access to and responsible usage of affordable, effective and safe financial services.

The Dutch Queen has been racking up air miles in recent days, travelling to Brazil on the heels of a trip to Jordan, where she attended the wedding of Crown Prince Hussein.

As per usual, she was effortlessly elegant in a blue floral gown as she arrived ahead of the nuptials.

She opted for a V-neck gown with floaty sleeves for the occasion and was seen arriving at Zahran Palace in Amman arm-in-arm with her husband King Willem-Alexander, 56.

As the couple entered the Palace, they were greeted by Crown Prince Hussein’s proud parents King Abdullah II, 61, and Queen Rania, 52.

Maxima’s show-stopping dress featured billowing sheer sleeves – making it ideal for 31C temperatures today.

The stunning A-Line chiffon gown – which was cinched in at the waist with a ribbon – featured a dainty blue floral pattern.

What’s more, Maxima matched her accessories to the colour of her pretty summery dress.

The royal wore long silver necklace featuring an assortment of blue jewels and matching dangly earrings.

She also carried a navy shell-shaped woven clutch bag to carry her essentials.

Tying into her glamorous ensemble, Maxima styled her blonde hair in old Hollywood-style waves.

The stylish royal famously loves a smokey eye-look for everyday royal engagements – but opted for something more dramatic for the Royal Wedding today.

To offset her nude lipstick, Maxima donned a sweep of navy eyeshadow and highlighter on the high points of her face to give her a sunkissed glow.

Meanwhile, King Willem-Alexander was just as dapper in a navy suit and a pale blue tie, which matched the exact hue of his wife’s dress.
