Andy Cohen reveals he would ‘love’ to host Wheel Of Fortune once Pat Sajak, 76, retires: ‘It’s a dream job’
Andy Cohen revealed that he wouldd love to host Wheel Of Fortune once Pat Sajak retires, according to US Weekly.
‘That would be incredible,’ the Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen host declared.
Pat, the long-time host of Wheel Of Fortune, announced last month that he planned to retire after the current season wraps filming.
The news of the legendary game show host’s retirement immediately stoked rumors about the 76-year-old’s replacement.
Although Andy recognized that he hadn’t hosted a game show yet himself, he said, ‘Dream, dream job. I would love to, ‘ when he was asked if he would like to replace Pat on the show.

A legend says farewell: The 76-year-old Wheel of Fortune host plans to retire in 2024
Pat has hosted Wheel of Fortune since 1981, six years after the American game show first debuted.
Vanna White joined the series in 1982, marking the beginning of their legendary co-hosting partnership.
While the Bravo TV host has thrown his hat in the ring as a potential replacement for Pat, a source said that Vanna would ‘highly consider’ taking over the role herself.
The source revealed that Vanna had no plans to step down from her Wheel of Fortune co-hosting role, even after Pat steps down.
Several other notable names have also registered interest in taking over the vacant hosting position on Wheel of Fortune.
Among them are The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg and ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith.
American Idol host Ryan Seacrest is also a rumored front-runner for the coveted job position.
However, the long-time Wheel of Fortune host’s successor has yet to be officially confirmed by CBS.

Although Andy’s typical job hosting reality television show reunions on Bravo TV is a far-cry away from Wheel of Fortune, the 55-year-old television producer made it clear how he felt about the possibility of succeeding Pat.
‘Not only is a game show the thing that I haven’t done yet, but that is the premiere game show. It’s really fun,’ the radio host added.
Given that the game show’s current host isn’t stepping down until 2024, there’s still time to find the next Pat Sajak.
As for the long-time Wheel of Fortune host himself — he’ll still serve as a Wheel of Fortune consultant for the next three years following his retirement.
‘t’s been a wonderful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the coming months,’ Pat wrote in a statement announcing his retirement on his Twitter page.
