Elton John’s husband David Furnish has revealed he is set to have four surprise guests performing in his Glastonbury headline show.
The music legend, 75, will close out the festival on Sunday on the iconic Pyramid Stage with his last UK performance, bringing an end to his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.
Speaking to Sky News presenter Beth Rigby, David said he’s ‘sworn to secrecy’ on the identity of the mystery acts, but described Elton’s headline slot as ‘very special.’
It comes amid huge speculation that Harry Styles could be one of the mystery names taking to the stage, after fans noted that there was a perfect gap in his own tour to make room for a surprise appearance.
Other rumoured names include Dua Lipa, Rina Sawayama and Lil Nas X, who is already booked to perform at the festival right before him.

David said: ‘Four collaborators of his choosing. People, he just thought, ‘I’d really like to do something with these artists at Glastonbury’. And that’s all I’m going to say’.
Asked who they might be, Furnish added: ‘Sorry. I am sworn to secrecy’.
‘This one is very special. It is not just another day in office,’ David told Beth. ‘It’s a different setlist – it’s a huge outdoor live festival.
‘He’s got four different collaborators joining him on stage at different times, who I won’t name, sorry.
‘So, he’s done a lot of changes. A lot on his plate, so I think he’s anxious. Yeah, but I think good, anxious, healthy anxious.’
David added that despite the end of Elton’s farewell tour, he has no plans to retire completely, and will be working on a new album in the autumn.
He joked: ‘I don’t think he’ll be sitting on the sofa with a remote control.
‘He’s going to go back into the studio in October and start his next album. Which will be great. He’s not done a studio album in a long time.’
