Surveillance footage caught the shocking moment a Kia sped through a Florida convenience store and pinned a man up against a wall.
Video posted online shows the black sedan crashing through the the Travel Centers of America in Seffner, a town just east of Tampa, at around 12.24am on Tuesday before coming to a stop at a back wall, where a man could be seen flailing his arms.
Authorities say the crash was not an accident, but have not released a motive even as they arrested Anthony Katosh, 37, for criminal mischief of $1,000 or more.
Fortunately, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said, both the victim and the driver suffered only minor injuries.
Anthony Katosh, 37, was arrested for criminal mischief of $1,000 or more after he allegedly plowed his Kia Forte into the Travel Centers of America in Seffner, a town just east of Tampa, at around 12.24am on Tuesday
Surveillance footage caught the moment the car broke through the glass doors of the convenience store and swept the victim up in a cloud of debris
The Kia finally came to a stop at the back wall, where a man could be seen reaching out from between metal beams and crumpled produce displays
In the footage of the crash, a man in a light colored shirt and dark pants could be seen entering the store at the far end.
As he approaches the door, a black Kia Forte could be seen speeding into view, crashing through the glass doors before they even have a chance to close after the customer.
Just four seconds pass between the time the Forte enters the parking lot and the crash, when the unidentified victim is picked up in a wave or debris and carried through the store.
Once the car comes to a stop at a back wall, the customer’s arms are seen reaching out from between metal beams and crumpled produce displays.
Store employees could then be seen coming out from behind their desk on the right side of the screen and calling the police as they assess the situation.
Both the victim and Katosh were transported to Tampa General Hospital in the aftermath with non-life threatening injuries.
‘The footage of the car smashing through this business and straight into a victim is jarring to say the least,’ Sheriff Chad Chronister said in a statement.
‘It is an absolute miracle that the person pinned by the car did not sustain more serious injuries, and we’re glad to hear he will be OK.’
The victim could be seen approaching the door to the convenience store when the Kia Forte speeds into view

A motive for the crash remains unclear, but it came just days after Katosh urged his friends to send police to his address as he was having trouble with his roommate
It remains unclear what led up to the collision, but on Katosh’s Facebook page he asked for police assistance just two nights before, urging is friends to ‘send police fast. Don’t call, send.’
When asked if he was OK, Katosh replied that ‘a little roommate trouble over escalated.’
Katosh has previously been arrested for domestic violence and traffic violations, records obtained by DailyMail.com show.
He is now being held on a $2,000 bond as an investigation into the crash continues.
