Jurgen Klopp’s agent insists the Liverpool boss is NOT eyeing the Germany job amid calls for him to replace under-fire Hansi Flick
Jurgen Klopp’s agent has reiterated the Liverpool boss’ commitment to the Premier League amid calls for him to replace under-fire Germany manager Hansi Flick.
The Germans suffered their latest humbling defeat on Tuesday, a 2-0 home loss to Colombia, which took their dismal run of form to three wins in 11 games.
Flick, who took over from Joachim Low in 2021, is under mounting pressure as their run of form comes after failing to progress from the group stages at the 2022 World Cup.
The side were booed off after defeat to Colombia and pressure is intensifying on them to win Euro 2024, a tournament they are hosting. As a result, Klopp, who has long been seen as the dream get for the German FA, has been the subject of speculation linking him to the role.
But despite Liverpool’s disappointing campaign last term, Klopp’s agent Marc Kosicke has moved quickly to quash any chance of a sensational move into international football.

Hansi Flick faced calls to leave the Germany role after last year’s disappointing World Cup run
‘Jürgen has a long-term contract with Liverpool,’ Kosicke told Bild. ‘And [Germany] has a national coach. So it’s not an issue for us at all.’
German boss Klopp has three years remaining on the extension he signed with Liverpool in April 2022.
The Reds’ poor 2022-23 campaign, which saw them miss out on the Champions League, has sparked a major rebuild with several reinforcements expected in this transfer window.
They moved quickly to swoop for Brighton’s Alexis Mac Allister and have been heavily linked with deals for Nice’s Khephren Thuram and Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Manu Kone.
Club legend Roberto Firmino led the raft of names out of the door, which included James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita.
Following Germany’s defeat on Tuesday, Bild called on the German FA to ‘fight for [Klopp] with all its might’ but it now appears the national team will have to wait until 2026 at the earliest to make a move for the former Borussia Dortmund manager.
