A picture has been released of a French husband who allegedly spent ten years letting 83 men rape his wife while she was drugged unconscious after finding them on a depraved website.
His wife collapsed in horror when shown evidence of how she was brutally assaulted for nearly a decade, prosecution documents have revealed.
‘Françoise’ told police how she would wake in the night feeling she had been raped, but assuming the chilling reality must have been a dream.
Now, she has filed for divorce from her husband of 50 years, as evidence mounts in the case against him and 51 identified suspects accused of raping her as she lay unconscious at their home in the south of France between 2011 and 2020.
Prosecution documents allege that husband ‘Dominique P.’ urged his wife’s rapists not to wear condoms. A doctor has also revealed the woman in her sixties had contracted four venereal diseases and suffered gynaecological problems.

Dominique P. was indicted for the murder of a woman in 1991 – which he denies – and the attempted rape of another in 1999. Previously an E-FIT based on witness testimonies in the 1999 case was said to ‘bear a strong resemblance’ to Dominique P
Meanwhile, Dominique P. has also been charged with raping and murdering a 23-year-old estate agent in Paris in 1991. A second estate agent said she had been attacked in Paris eight years later and investigative sources say an e-fit of the suspect in both cases ‘bears a strong resemblance’ to Dominique.
As prosecutors also prepare to bring the case involving his wife to trial next year, evidence is said to show how the couple’s eldest daughter was also filmed unconscious in her underwear, and alleged abuses against other family members.
Grandchildren allege the suspect regularly ‘played doctor’ with them, and would buy them toys for undressing, and Dominique P. is said to have filmed his daughters-in-law in the bathroom using a hidden camera, sharing the images online.
In the case involving his wife, he was ultimately caught in 2020 after he was found using a pen with a hidden camera to spy on women in changing rooms in Carpentras, leading police to search his house.
Dominique P. – as he is being referred to by France’s legal authorities – faces trial next year, along with alleged accomplices he met on an online sex forum, for alleged offences against his wife.
Police have used video and computer data evidence to identify 92 cases of rape of his wife by 83 men, and have to date identified 51 suspects aged between 26 and 73.
Dominique P. is understood to have recruited his wife’s attackers from an online forum called ‘Without Her Knowing’ – where users discuss performing sex acts on unwitting partners – and storing evidence on a USB drive in a file called ‘ABUSES’.
The vast majority of the attacks were filmed, with the videos placed in computer files, complete with the name of the attacker and the type of sex act.
In his videos, Dominique P. called his wife a ‘slut’ hundreds of times, but insisted he meant it affectionately.
He also told investigating magistrates he loves his ‘saint’ wife.
His lawyer added that Françoise was ‘his first love, indeed the only love of his life’.
Dominique P. is alleged to have used the drug Lorazepam to sedate his wife by mixing it into her meal, before inviting men to have sex with her while she was unconscious at their home in Mazan, near Avignon.
Investigators learned of the horror after arresting Dominique in 2020 for filming up the skirts of customers in a supermarket in nearby Carpentras, with a search of his Provence home uncovering camera equipment and ‘dozens of videos’ of his wife’s abuse.
Alleged rapists involved in the case include civil servants, ambulance workers, soldiers, prison guards, nurses, a journalist, a municipal councillor, and truck drivers.
A fireman accused of raping Françoise wore his uniform during the attack, one video shows.
The fireman’s computer contained 728 images of children being sexually abused.
Some of his accomplices claimed they had no idea his wife was not consensual while one denied it was rape, saying: ‘It’s his wife, he does what he likes with her.’
The father-of-three, in his early 70s, is currently in prison in Avignon, in the south of France, charged with ‘aggravated rape’ and the administration of drugs which were used to sedate his wife.
When his wife was informed of the secret tapes, she broke down and became suicidal, saying: ‘I was his thing,’ before filing for divorce.

Dominique P. is also suspected of raping and then murdering Sophie Narme, a 23-year-old estate agent, who was found mutilated in a flat in the 19th arrondissement of Paris in December 1991.
An autopsy revealed that the young woman had been drugged, raped, strangled, and stabbed in the chest with a knife.
Investigating sources told Le Parisien newspaper that they suspect Dominique P. of setting up a meeting with Ms Narme at the flat, using the fictitious name ‘Mr Duboste’.
A colleague of Ms Narme recalled meeting a man who used the name Duboste, and who fitted Dominique P.’s description.
The suspect denies having any involvement in the case.
Another female estate agent – aged 19 and referred to only as E. – was attacked in similar circumstances by Dominique P. at a flat in the Paris suburb of Villeparisis in 1999, but managed to escape after fighting back.
Blood was found on the carpet in the second case, and in August 2022 DNA found was matched with Dominique P.’s genetic profile.
Dominique P. was in the real estate industry throughout the 1990s, and a police E-FIT put together from witness testimonies was said to ‘bear a strong resemblance’ to Duboste and the man who attacked E., an investigating source said.
On September 7 2022, Dominique P. appeared before a judge in Nanterre, where he was indicted for the murder of Sophie Narme, and the attempted rape of E.
Dominique P. has since admitted trying to rape E.

He and his wife lived together in the village of Mazan, near Carpentras, where he is said to have continued setting up sexual liaisons on a dating site called Coco.
Dominique P. is said to have sedated his wife by putting tablets of Temesta – a powerful anxiolytic – into her evening dinner.
He then invited strangers from the online forum into the couple’s bedroom, so that his wife could be raped while unconscious.
Almost all of the rapes were filmed, and the videos kept on file with a date, a first name, and the nature of the sexual act, according to prosecution evidence.
One hundred and twenty-eight images were seized by police in all, with 92 rapes on Françoise proved.
A list of 83 attackers was drawn up, and 51 men arrested in a first wave of arrests.
