Amad Diallo’s ‘preferred choice of club is REVEALED, as Man United consider loaning him again’

Amad Diallo’s ‘preferred choice of club is REVEALED, as Man United consider sending the forward on loan again’… with Erik ten Hag ‘set to make a decision over the youngster’s future’

  • Amad Diallo had a successful loan spell with Sunderland last season
  • Man United are currently deciding whether he should do another season on loan
  • Manager Erik ten Hag will make the final decision in the coming weeks

Manchester United will make a final decision on the future of Amad Diallo in the coming weeks with the player hoping he will be integrated into Erik ten Hag’s first team.

However, Fabrizio Romano reports that if united do decide to loan him out again then he would prefer to spend another season with Sunderland.

The 20-year-old had a fine campaign in the Championship, contributing 13 goals and three assists as the Black Cats narrowly missed out on promotion.

Romano took to Twitter on Friday morning, writing: ‘Amad Diallo’s future is still open. Man United will make final decision on Amad in the next weeks. He hopes for first team chance but it’s up to Ten Hag.

‘Understand in case Manchester United decide to loan Amad out, the player’s preference would be Sunderland again.’

Dutch champions Feyenoord have also shown interest in the player, who has two years left on his contract at Old Trafford.

Diallo’s current United deal expires in 2025 but the Red Devils have an option to extend it a further year.

United signed the player for a reported £19million, plus £18.2million in add-ons, in 2021.

He has made nine first team appearances since then, contributing one goal and one assist.
