Lily Allen cuts a casual figure as she arrives for her West End show after crying when she greeted fans following The Pillowman performance
Lily Allen was seen for the first time after she was spotted looking teary eyed earlier this week.
The Smile hitmaker, 38, made her West End debut in 2:22 A Ghost Story and has returned to the stage in Martin McDonagh’s play, The Pillowman.
The singer-turned-actress opted for a cool yet comfortable look as she arrived at the Duke Of York theatre carrying shopping bags.
Lily donned a pair of colourful floral trousers which she paired with a plain white vest top.
She flashed a hint of her toned midriff in the casual getup and complemented her look with a pastel green shoulder bag.

Cool and casual: Lily opted for a dress down look as she entered the theatre, as she donned floral trousers, a white vest and some chunky white trainers
The blonde beauty wore some white chunky trainers and carried her phone in her hand.
The outing comes just a day after the star was spotted looking teary eyed talking to fans after the show.
Lily has taken on the role of Katurian in the revival of the 2003 play, which follows the fiction writer as she is imprisoned by a totalitarian state.
Starring opposite Steve Pemberton, who plays Tupolski and Matthew Tennyson, who stars as Michael, Lily plays the role that had been previously played by David Tennant twenty years ago.
Speaking about the decision to cast a woman in the role, Lily told The Telegraph: ‘I think it will add an extra layer of horror, because we’re not used to seeing women being beaten up.
‘It will be shocking, in that sense. I also feel that men don’t necessarily get the same c**p for their artistic output that women do.’
The Pillowman follows Katurian as she is brutally questioned by authorities after a spate of murders bear similarities to her short stories.
It has received mixed reviews, with one critic from The Telegraph awarding it three stars, writing that they were ‘mildly bored’.

Performance pro: Lily showed off her bloodied face as she took a bow at the end of her press night debut performance in The Pillowman on Wednesday night
The Times gave the play two stars, yet Nick Curtis from The Evening Standard granted it four stars, writing ‘Allen, who made an impressive stage-acting debut in Dunster’s ongoing 2:22 A Ghost Story, is compulsively watchable: drawn, intense, angular.
‘But this show requires a juggling of emotional states she can’t quite muster.’
The black comedy – which will run until September 2 – ‘examines the role of the artist in society and asks what price do we pay for freedom of expression’, according to a synopsis on the play’s website.
Speaking about The Pillowman’s discussions around censorship, Lily said the play raises a lot of questions about freedom of speech and the internet.
