Former Arizona Cardinals executive, and the brother of its current owner Michael, Bill Bidwill Jr. was allegedly struck involved in a violent dispute with his wife earlier this month. 

According to police reports viewed by TMZ, Bidwill told Paradise Valley Police Department he was hit in the head with a glass cup June 9. 

Per the report, Bidwill’s wife, Nicole, is alleged to have broken the glass on him during an argument wherein she ‘hit him with her hands about a hundred times’ after he wasn’t home upon the arrival of carpet installers. 

As seen per the mugshot, Mrs. Bidwill was arrested and reportedly booked on once count of assault June 10, though her husband declined to press charges. 

The Arizona Cardinals shared a statement with the outlet. ‘Two weeks ago, Nicole Kugler Bidwill was involved in an incident that resulted in her arrest,’ the  Cardinals said.

‘This is a difficult time for their family but her husband and children love her very much and are thankful that she is currently receiving the help she needs. 

‘They ask that their family’s privacy be respected as they deal with this challenging personal situation.’ 

Bidwill Jr. served as the Cards Vice President for multiple years while his father, Bill Bidwill Sr. was at the helm. 

He passed away in 2019 and his other son, Michael, is now the principal owner of the NFC West franchise. 

The Bidwill family first bought the Cardinals in 1933 while they resided in Chicago. The team moved to St. Louis in 1960 before moving to its current location, Arizona, in 1988.
