Jorginho has hinted at Kai Havertz’s move to Arsenal with a cheeky post on social media.

The former Chelsea team-mates were both in attendance at Kepa Arrizabalaga’s wedding on Sunday.

Arsenal have agreed a £65m fee with Chelsea for the signature of Germany forward Havertz and fans are waiting for the transfer to be made official.

And Jorginho played up to that as he shared a selfie with Havertz with a number of eye emojis.

Havertz emerged as somewhat of a surprise target in recent weeks with Mikel Arteta looking to bring something different to his squad.

He has agreed a long-term contract with Arsenal, having been offered a deal which will see him earn a minimum £210,000 per week.

The 24-yer-old joined Chelsea in 2020 and has been regular starter under the last five managers at the beleaguered west London club.

During that time he played alongside Jorginho before the Italian joined Arsenal in January.

As per ESPN, Arsenal have hinted that as well as operating as a No 10 or a No 8 in Mikel Arteta’s starting XI, the club plans to use Havertz interchangeably in any of the three attacking positions at the top of a 4-3-3 system.

The Spanish manager is so convinced of the value of Havertz’s potential versatility, that he is believed to have played a large role in ongoing negotiations for the player.

Havertz has played a number of forward roles for Chelsea during his time at Stamford Bridge, but this season has been largely deployed as an out-and-out No 9 due to a striker crisis.
