Stan releases teaser for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon starring Norman Reedus

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon is coming soon to Stan. 

The new series, starring popular cast member Norman Reedus in the title role, just released a sneak peek. 

In the trailer, Daryl washes ashore in France with him struggling to piece together how he got there and why.

Daryl’s arrival in France raises the ire of leaders within a splintered but growing autocratic movement centred in Paris. 

It endangers a young boy at the heart of a benevolent religious movement called the Union of Hope. 

Daryl agrees to shepherd the child and his caretakers on their pilgrimage to The Nest, a sanctuary which promises safety. 

However, only in return for the Union’s help securing him passage back to America.

The series tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. 

Along the way, Daryl finds his steadfast desire to return home complicated by the new connections he forms.

He also gains a renewed sense of hope from these relationships. 

The new series will also star The Essex Serpent’s Clémence Poésy and Red Rose’s Adam Nagaitis. 

The new series will screen exclusively on Stan with the streaming giant also home to The Walking Dead: Dead City.
