A picture of Kai Havertz in an Arsenal shirt has seemingly been leaked on Twitter ahead of his expected move to the Gunners.

Mikel Arteta’s side are close to securing the signing of Havertz from London rivals Chelsea for a fee of £65million.

The image shows Havertz smiling while wearing Arsenal’s new home shirt for the 2023-24 campaign.

It is anticipated that the Germany international will become Arsenal’s first signing of the summer.

Although Havertz endured some difficult moments at Chelsea, Arteta values his versatility, with the 24-year-old having been used up front, as an attacking midfielder and out wide.

After joining from Bayer Leverkusen in 2020, Havertz made 139 appearances for Chelsea and scored 32 goals, while he provided 15 assists.

He memorably scored the winner for Chelsea against Manchester City in the Champions League final in 2021.

Arsenal are also looking to make other additions to their squad, most notably with their pursuit of Declan Rice.

It is anticipated that Arsenal will make a third bid for Rice after having two offers rejected, although Manchester City are also interested in the West Ham midfielder.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have made an improved bid of £41.5million for Ajax defender Jurrien Timber.
