Jennifer Garner jokingly hides behind 17-year-old daughter Violet as they head out shopping

My mini-me is now so big! Jennifer Garner’s look-alike daughter Violet, 17, towers over her as they lark around on shopping trip in LA

Jennifer Garner had some summer fun with her 17-year-old daughter Violet, jokingly hiding behind her to shield herself from photographers.

The 51-year-old actress was spotted out doing some shopping at an eyeglass store in Pacific Palisades on Monday.

The outing comes just after Garner opened up about what she misses the most about her life before becoming a celebrity.

Garner stepped out in a black sweatshirt and black biker shorts for her outing with her oldest child Violet.

She had her dark hair pulled back into a ponytail and stepped out with dark sunglasses for the outing.

Garner completed her look with a pair of light blue running shoes while out with her daughter.

Violet opted for a full-length white sleeveless dress with red polka dots that fell to her calves.

She also wore clear-framed glasses with a bright yellow bracelet on her right wrist for the outing.

The teenager completed her look with a pair of grey running shoes similar to the ones her mother was wearing.

‘It’s an enormous loss when you are the person that the eyes are directed toward,’ The Last Thing He Told Me star said.

‘The loss of just being able to smile at someone on the street and say hello as yourself is a really intense thing,’ she added.

The 51-year-old actress noted that although the privilege of being able to say hello yourself was, ‘something to mourn and not be taken lightly,’ she also believed that it was a, ‘natural outcropping of…success.’

In other words, Jennifer said, ‘It’s not something to be totally feared.’
