Alicia Silverstone gets stuck in doorway during photoshoot decked out in Christian Siriano gown

Call it one of the hazards of high fashion.

Designer Christian Siriano dressed Alicia Silverstone in one of his pink bell-shaped gowns for a photoshoot in scenic Como, Italy, which is known for its numerous works of art, churches, gardens, museums, theatres, parks, and palaces.

It turns out the actress, all glammed out in the striking number, proved to be a difficult combination when she tried to get through a couple of doorways.

In a video, posted on both Siriano and Silverstone’s respective Instagram pages, the Mean Girls star is seen trying to push her way inside from the balcony of a home, but got stuck in the frame of the doorway.

With Lake Como in the background, Siriano could be heard laughing excessively when he asks her if she actually ‘got stuck?’

After confirming she really did get caught between the doorway, Siriano can be heard still laughing when he encourages her to ‘pull through.’

Initially, Silverstone has a bewildered smile on her face when the mishap first happened, which ended up being just the first of several instances where she had problems navigating doorways. 

With the two-piece posh garment several feet wider than her actual physique, the former Miss Match actress could be seen trying to push past the frame of the walkway to the balcony/patio.

‘Okay come on, really? Siriano adds, while sounding even more astonished that she got stuck and really couldn’t get back into the posh home.

As the season four Project Runway winner continued to laugh out loud, his model for the day proceeded to continually try to take a step forward with her hands gripped on both sides of the gown.

Despite her efforts of going back-and-forth, the measurements of the gown against the balcony entrance impeded her progress forward.

Eventually, after many attempts, Silverstone pushed through the narrow walkway, which elicited a smile on her face, and praise from Siriano.

With her midriff nearly in full view, due to the two-portion design, the fashion designer declares her to be ‘gorgeous,’ just as Silverstone was approaching a second doorway, only this time it was inside the residence.

Success: The second doorway was much easier to navigate, taking the actress just two attempts to push through to the otherside

This more traditional size doorway would only take a couple of pushes forward for her to get through to the other side.

Just as she pushed forward on her second attempt, Siriano reminded her to ‘hold it up,’ for which she quickly responded by lifting the bottom part of the gown up with her hands.

‘Cute,’ he quickly shot back to Silverstone as she mugged for his camera.

The pink gown came complete with a black lining to differentiate the sections along the main bottom portion, as well as along the chest region of the top.

Considering she had been outside on that balcony striking a number of poses, her blonde tresses had a slight messy look, with some strands of hair in the front hanging over her face, while the rest was styled long and flowing with a right side part.

Laid out: The actress would also strike a number of poses inside and outside the posh residence, including on a landing underneath a series of windows

More issues: There’s also a couple of pictures taken outside as she stood on the other side of another doorway that looked like it would be sketchy for her to make inside without any issues

Hazards: While her pink gown was much wider than this doorway, this one would be easier then the first balcony entrance

Lovely: Fans and followers of Siriano and Silverstone also got a look at the front of the gorgeous residence in Italy

Sweet: Siriano and Silverstone would also snuggle up to each other while in a boat on the lake

Both designer and model also shared other photos taken during Wednesday’s shoot in Italy.

One showed the San Francisco native laying down in her gown below a section of windows. 

There’s also a couple of pictures taken outside as she stood on the other side of another doorway that looked like it would prove to be sketchy for her to make inside without any issues.

Both of their Instagram fans and followers also got a front look at the gorgeous residence where the shoot was held, along with a picture of Siriano and Silverstone snuggling up to each other while in a boat on the lovely lake.
