How to get Taylor Swift tickets Sydney Melbourne today: Hotel accommodation booked out in Australia

Aussie Taylor Swift fans who snagged Eras Tour tickets in the pre-sale reveal the huge problem they’re facing: ‘I didn’t think of this’

  • Swifties can’t find accommodation in Melbourne
  • Some fans freaking out after getting tickets but nowhere to stay

Swifties have issued an urgent warning to the pop star’s fans ahead of the general admission sales on Friday.

According to one woman who was lucky enough to score tickets in the very competitive pre-sale, there’s no accommodation left in Melbourne.

‘Have been looking at accommodation and there is literally nothing left. I didn’t even think about this,’ she said.

This means Swifties from interstate or regional areas could struggle to find somewhere to sleep after the concert – even if they score great tickets.

The woman added she would be driving to the concert and asked locals for advice with her serious problem.

800,000 Swifties were waiting to buy tickets on the morning of the pre-sale

Some people recommended she expand her accommodation search, noting she might have to be prepared to travel on the night.

Geelong appeared to be the most popular option, but some concertgoers were sceptical because it is an hour from the city.

‘You should be able to get something way closer,’ one said.

Others admitted looking at ‘unknown’ suburbs on the inner-fringe could be helpful.

‘Stay out of the city. Match up somewhere along the train lines. So much easier to catch the train in when there are big shows in the city,’ said another.

One Swiftie said there was still space at the hotel she booked, but admitted it had cost her $1,089 for two nights.

Some people suggested she prepare for a long night in the car ‘camping’.

‘Park up in the concert car park!’

But others guessed the accommodation situation might ‘work itself out’.

‘Once the sales are finished people will cancel their accommodation – not everyone who has booked a room will be lucky enough to get tickets,’ one person said.

One fan admitted she had to pay more than she wanted for accommodation but had a plan to fall back on.

‘Made sure we got accommodation that can be cancelled for free in case something cheaper comes up once the frenzy has died down. I assume there will be a bit of cancellations.’

One woman slammed the unlucky fan.

‘There was literally statements released on several news places before yesterday’s pre-sale noting most accommodation for the weekend was already sold out by people purchasing accommodation in advance. I’d say flight availability could be tricky or become expensive too.’
