New Toys R Us stores open in WH Smith stores across Britain as children’s favourite makes its High Street comeback

  • The shops are opening within WH Smith stores with nine new stores this year

New Toys R Us stores have been opening across Britain as the children’s favourite makes a high street comeback.

The shops are opening within WH Smith stores, marking a return for the chain following its collapse in 2018.

The Toys R Us branches will supply toys made by brands such as Barbie, Bluey, Hot Wheels, Lego, Paw Patrol and Star Wars.

The famous chain collapsed into administration in 2018 and shut the doors to all of its 100 UK branches, before announcing plans for a relaunch in October last year.
