Mary Berry makes a rare appearance with her husband Paul Hunnings

From the kitchen to the cricket! Mary Berry, 88, makes a rare appearance with her husband of 57 years Paul Hunnings as they watch The Ashes’ second test at Lord’s

Mary Berry swapped the cooking for the cricket after she was spotted at The Ashes’ Second Test this week.

The Great British Bake Off star, 88, watched the match at Lord’s unfold with her husband Paul Hunnings, who she married in 1966.

The couple have two sons and a daughter together, however one of their sons tragically died in a car accident in 1989.

It may not have been the result the England cricket team were hoping for, but Mary looked in good spirits in floral blue dress, her hair neatly styled in her signature bob.

Former captain Michael Vaughan has again taken aim at England and declared they ‘clearly like losing’ after another poor session saw them surrender cheap wickets in the Ashes.

Mary was last seen out and about at the Chelsea Flower show last month.

The veteran cook wore a gorgeous blue floral long-sleeved dress with matching beige shoes and purse.

The baker smiled as she chatted with son of Princess Margaret David Armstrong-Jones, 2nd Earl of Snowdon.

After her famous innuendos with baker Paul Hollywood, it’s well-known that Mary is always up for a laugh and James Martin recently revealed his wild night with her.

Talking to Holly Willoughby and Dermot O’Leary on This Morning earlier in June, the TV chef confessed he once took Mary on a six-hour night out to a superclub in Ibiza.

He recalled that the baking legend enjoyed the night at famed club Pacha and even had a boogie.

Holly asked James: ‘I hear you’ve got a bit of a story about Ibiza?’

He replied: ‘It’s a claim to fame! I took Mary Berry for a six-hour night out in Pasha.’

A gobsmacked Holly responded: ‘Are you kidding me? Did she enjoy it?’

James nodded, saying: ‘She did – she led me astray. She even hit the dancefloor.’

Holly struggled to wrap her head around the wild tale and said: ‘I’ve just got this image of Mary Berry in a bikini and a whistle.’
