Taylor Swift superfan on loophole she used to score tickets for Australian leg of The Eras Tour

A superfan found a way to dodge online queues and score tickets to the Australian leg of Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour.

Blaise de Vos, an Aussie model, told The Project on Friday night that she did it the old fashioned way – she waited at a physical Ticketek location overnight.

The fan camped at a ticket box on Thursday night, waiting 19 hours in total with just a handful of other fans waiting ahead of her when she first arrived.

There was only one venue in Melbourne selling the tickets in person, and Blaise got a tip from a Taylor Swift Facebook fan page that led her to the loophole.

‘I was pretty scared. I got there about 7pm last night. And before that I was really nervous because I thought there would be a lot of people waiting outside’ she said.

‘There were literally only four people in front of me. I was fifth in line. We were not sure how many tickets they would have. It went really well, obviously. It paid off.’

In the end she got tickets for every night of the Melbourne gigs when the box office opened on Friday morning.

Blaise said she was ‘freezing’ in the nine degree winter chill and cuddled up with her sister in a sleeping bag overnight, as well as making frequent trips to a nearby MacDonald’s.

It all worked out in the end and she scored A Reserve seats on the floor, close to the stage.

It comes as tickets to The Eras Tour have officially sold out to the dismay of thousands of fans.

All dates for the pop icon’s, 33, concert sold out within hours after Ticketek opened general sales at 10am on Friday for Sydney and 2pm for Melbourne.

The site worked overtime with thousands of Aussie Swifties filling up the waiting room to get a second shot at scoring their ticket, only to be let down hours later.

Within two hours of Sydney’s second round tickets going on sale, Ticketek announced on Twitter that all A-G reserve allocations had been ‘exhausted’.

Only ‘VIP and hotel + ticket packages’ remain for all Sydney shows after Frontier members dominated pre-sale tickets on Wednesday.

The news didn’t get any better for Melbourne later in the day, with A-G reserves allocations also being ‘exhausted’ within two hours.

‘VIP and hotel + ticket packages’ for the Sunday show are the only tickets remaining for Melbournites.

After Wednesday’s wild pre-sale for Taylor’s Australian tour took the country by storm, an extra date in Sydney and Melbourne were added due to high demand.

However, the hunt for a seat has become so drastic, frantic fans took to social media on Friday to tweet Ticketek directly and beg for seats to one of the shows.

‘This is becoming an obsession. I feel like a stalker!’ wrote one fan.

‘I’m going to start playing each of Taylor Swifts albums and see how long it takes,’ wrote another.

‘Guys I’m at work serving customers please make sure I get tickets straight away please I’m begging you,’ pleaded another.

Taylor announced a third Melbourne show at the MCG on February 18 next year and a fourth Sydney concert at Accor Stadium on February 26 as part of The Eras Tour.

The star will become the first artist since Madonna to perform three consecutive concerts at the Melbourne Cricket Ground when she takes the stage in February next year, and the first ever to play a fourth straight show at Sydney’s Accor Stadium.

The new gigs are in addition to the existing Melbourne concerts on February 16 and 17 and Sydney shows on February 23, 24, 25.
