Can you guess which place in Australia has the most Swifties? The surprising city obsessed with Taylor Swift is revealed as Aussies scramble for tickets to Eras Tour
The Australian city with the most amount of Taylor Swift fans has been revealed, as the pop star prepares to visit Down Under for her Eras Tour.
Amid the flurry for tickets to one of seven Australian shows, new data released by Marketix Digital showed the ACT is home to more Swifties than anywhere else in Australia.
Shoaib Mughal, Managing Director of Marketix Digital, confirmed the outcome to Daily Mail Australia after analysing Google search trends following the Eras Tour announcement last week.
While Sydney and Melbourne will have to shake it off, it is Canberra where the Style hitmaker proved to be most beloved per capita.
The ACT had a perfect score of 100, indicating the highest level of interest per capita.
New South Wales came in second at 88 and Victoria ranked third at 80.

Queensland lagged behind Tasmania with a score of 59.
According to the data, the American hitmaker was least popular in Western Australia and the Northern Territory.
The search score in Western Australia was 44, while the Northern Territory got the lowest score at 40.

Mughal theorised that Taylor’s decision to only perform in Sydney and Melbourne account for the low interest from central Australia and the West Coast.
‘With WA and NT being so far from Sydney and Melbourne, where Taylor will be performing, I think her fans in these states have given up trying to buy tickets and they would have to pay for flights and accommodation in these two cities,’ Mughal said.
‘With accommodation being reported as being scarce in both capitals, it’s no wonder that NT and WA fans have given up on trying to secure Swift tickets.’
The buzz around Taylor Swift tickets has been nothing short of chaotic in Australia.
General admission tickets to her Sydney concerts sold out in mere hours on Friday, when they were released.
Swift’s Eras Tour is quickly shaping up to be one of the highest grossing concert tours of all time, already earning over $1billion.
The iconic singer performs a 44 song set list over three hours comprising of both new and her classic hits.
The Pennsylvania native will now be performing seven shows in Australia in February, three in Melbourne and four in Sydney.
The Victorian shows will be performed at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on February 16, 17 and 18.
Swift will then fly to Sydney to perform over four consecutive nights at Accor Stadium on February 23, 24, 25, 26.
The stadium capacity at the MCG will be more than 100,000, while Accor has a capacity of 83,500.
