Henry Cavill’s co-star was left devastated over his departure from the fantasy series The Witcher.
It comes after it was rumoured the actor left the series after locking heads with fellow co-showrunner Lauren Hissrich about the direction of the show.
Anya Chalotra, who stars in the series as the sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg, told The Telegraph that ‘it’s been difficult to find closure’ following his departure.
She said: ‘The news was hard to take because he’s family.’
‘We’ve been together for five years. So for anyone to leave after working with someone for that long, we’re going to feel that loss.’

Liam Hemsworth, who replaced Henry in the Netflix series, will remain in the lead in season four.
The actor has also been replaced by David Corenswet in the new Superman film, Superman: Legacy.
The actor made a recent appearance alongside girlfriend Natalie Viscuso, 32, last month at The Witcher season 3 premiere in London.
Henry looked sensational next to Natalie who donned a metallic black and gold maxi dress at the The Now Building at Outernet.
The couple looked as loved up as ever as the posed side by side for the cameras with their best poker faces.
Natalie amped up the ante in a stunning thigh-high split leg with a plunging neckline showcasing her ample cleavage.

He topped his look off with a burgundy, satin pocket square and slicked his long hair back from his face.
While Natalie opted for a black sheer mesh shawl that shielded which loosely hung to the back of her dress.
The couple announced they were dating via Instagram back in May 2021 and have revealed snips of their relationship on social media since.
