Logie Awards shakeup! TV’s ‘night of nights’ opens prestigious stars-only awards ceremony to the public for the first time – after shock nominations are announced
The 2023 Logie Awards is shaking things up later this month as the event is set to fling open its doors and invite fans inside to view the ceremony for the first time.
Tickets for television’s ‘night of nights’, which has typically been an exclusive stars-only event, are available for sale to the public.
Balcony tickets for July 30 are going for $99.85 each, while the coveted red carpet and awards ceremony tickets are selling for $149.95.
The red carpet arrivals are set to kick-off at 3:30pm and the awards ceremony is scheduled to begin at 7:30pm.
‘Be part of the most anticipated event of the year as you get up close and personal to celebrities as they walk the red carpet,’ a notice on the Ticketek website read.

The message continued: ‘And then witness the adulation and celebration of the most popular stars and shows on our screens.’
It comes just weeks after nominations for the prestigious event were announced.
There will be strong competition in the Gold Logie category for Most Popular Personality on Australian television.

Big Brother’s Sonia Kruger, Lego Masters host Hamish Blake, I’m a Celebrity star Julia Morris and The Bachelor’s Osher Günsberg are all nominated.
The category also features Leigh Sales from ABC’s 730 Report, Mark Coles Smith from Mystery Road: Origin and Shaun Micallef from Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell.
Sonia is also nominated for the Bert Newton Award for Most Popular Presenter alongside Hamish, Julia, Scott Cam, Shaun and Tony Armstrong.

Meanwhile Amy Shark, Ayesha Madon, Chloe Hayden, Flex Mami, Kween Kong and Lilliana Bowrey have a chance at Popular New Talent.
Home and Away’s Ada Nicodemou has been nominated for Popular Actress and will compete against her co-stars Emily Symons and Lynne McGranger as well as Wellmania’s Celeste Barber and Fisk Season 2’s Julia Zemiro and Kitty Flanagan.
The Most Popular Actor nominees include Home and Away’s James Stewart and Ray Meagher, Lincoln Younes from Last King of The Cross, Mystery Road: Origin’s Mark Coles Smith, Patrick Brammall from Colin from Accounts, and Sam Neill from The Twelve.
Farmer Wants A Wife, Hunted Australia, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Married at First Sight, MasterChef Australia: Fans & Favourites, and The Block will be competing for Most Popular Reality Program.
