‘I’m in so much pain’: Kerry Katona issues health update from oxygen chamber following scoliosis diagnosis
Kerry Katona issued a health update on Tuesday following her scoliosis diagnosis as she sat in an oxygen tank.
The TV personality, 42, who has suffered from ‘chronic pain’ for a number of years, explained that she is seeing a doctor for help with the condition.
Sharing a clip to Instagram, Kerry could been seen with a mask strapped round her face while the medical professionals worked to increase her oxygen levels.
She dressed in a comfy, black hoodie and pulled her blonde hair back from her face while undergoing the treatment.
Scoliosis is condition where the spine twists and curves to one side, and can cause pain in adults.

Speaking in the clip, Kerry explained: ‘I’ve recently just been diagnosed with Scoliosis and I’ve been in so much pain but I’m absolutely fine.
‘I’ve come to this hyperbaric oxygen chamber and it’s going to help me with my pain and I stay in here for about an hour and it increases your oxygen levels.’
Alongside the update, she captioned: ‘DON’T WORRY I’m in safe hands with @doctor.andrebd in the hyperbaric oxygen chamber!!! So I have recently been diagnosed with scoliosis and I’m here for some help on the pain!!’
Speaking to MailOnline, Kerry reflected on her recent health woes, telling how she has been diagnosed with scoliosis, a condition where the spine twists and curves to one side.
She recently told how she had been left bed bound after an arthritis flare up, which she was diagnosed with in 2013 after 13 years of unexplained chronic pain.
Now, she has opened up about being left in agony with scoliosis and said she had to beg her partner of five years Ryan to call her an ambulance amid the gruelling pain.
She said: ‘I’ve just been diagnosed with scoliosis, so I’ve been in a real bad way but I’ve got a great doctor now, I’m with him three times a week to get it all sorted.
‘I’ve lived with chronic pain for years and my problem is I don’t look after myself in regards to I never make appointments, I get diagnosed with something and never follow it up because I’ve got the kids or work.’

She continued: ‘After travelling and driving myself everywhere, in a different bed every night, my body just gave up,’ she went on.
‘I’ve got a really high pain threshold because I live with pain every day, it got to the point where I was crying and said to Ryan “get me an ambulance”.’
Kerry said she was ‘delighted’ when she was finally diagnosed with scoliosis, saying that even though she had never heard of the condition, she was ‘relieved’ to have an answer to her pain.
Amid her struggles with scoliosis, Kerry said she plans to try and lose two stone to make the condition more manageable, after already dropping three dress sizes.
