Today show star gets engaged to partner of two years

Marina Ivanovic and her partner of over two years Julius got engaged.

The Today show traffic reporter, 29, revealed the happy news on Tuesday with a heartwarming video of her cuddling up to her new fiancé. 

In the footage shared to Instagram, the Channel Nine star couldn’t wipe the grin off her face as she flashed her stunning diamond ring. 

‘He liked it so he put a ring on it! He well and truly surprised me by coming home early after being away for 3 months and making me his fiancé!’ Marina wrote.

‘WE ARE ENGAGED! Can’t wait to marry the love of my life!’

Julius popped the question on an outlook with a gorgeous view of the ocean where the happy couple posed for their video after, sharing a passionate kiss.

Marina was last reported to be dating model Efe Çakar, who she debuted as her boyfriend in May, 2020.

However, it appears they didn’t last long as Julius and Marina began dating in early 2021.

The brunette beauty’s television career began when she was hired as an extra on Home and Away in 2010, and she’s been a regular in front of the camera ever since. 

The Channel Nine star trained at the National Institute of Dramatic Art and Sydney Theatre School, where she took part in several theatre productions.

Proving herself to be a jack of all trades, she became a qualified member of the Australian Traffic Network in 2017.

According to her StarNow profile, Marina landed her first gig as a traffic reporter for Seven shortly thereafter, and the following year began working for Channel 10.

Marina and Julius (right) began dating in early 2021, just months after she broke up with her model ex Efe Çakar
