Harry Styles invites three Ukrainian refugees to his Love On Tour concert

Harry Styles invited three Ukrainian refugees to watch his Love On Tour concert in Warsaw, Poland, on Sunday night.

The singer, 29, has been travelling the globe as part of his hotly-anticipated 2023 tour, which will come to a close in Italy later this month.

And he teamed up with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) to invite a Ukrainian family to watch his performance at the PGE Narodowy Stadium.

Maryna, her daughter Daria, 13, and their friend Daria Kathina were devastatingly forced to flee their homes in Ukraine last year amid the Russian invasion.

They now live in Sosnowiec, Poland, and appeared to have an amazing time at the show as they toted Love On Tour merchandise while cheering Harry on.

Speaking about the experience, Maryna – who also has a son, 10 – told how it allowed them to ‘forget’ their worries after the ‘challenge’ of adjusting to life in a new country.

She said: ‘Since being forced to leave our home in Ukraine last year, it’s been a challenge adjusting to life in a new country – especially for my daughter, Daria, and my 10-year-old son.

‘I’m so grateful to Harry Styles and the IRC, which has supported me to pursue my dream career in Poland, for giving us the chance to forget our worries for a night, and sing and dance at the concert.’

Maryna, who wants to become a tram driver, and her family fled their hometown Mykolayiv in July 2022 before finding safety in Sosnowiec.

They are now rebuilding their lives in the Polish city, with the help of the IRC’s Step to Work project for Ukrainian refugees.

The family are among almost six million Ukrainians who have been forced to flee their homes amid Russia’s invasion of the country.

The IRC have worked to support more than 94,000 Ukrainian refugees in Poland, and many others across Europe, the UK and the US, to rebuild their lives.

Harry is in the middle of his Love On Tour shows which first began in 2021 in support of his second and third albums Fine Line and Harry’s House.

He is now set to travel to Germany, Austria, Spain and Portugal over the next few months before his final show in Reggio Emilia, Italy, on July 22.

The tour consists of seven legs spreading over the course of 22 months and kicked off in September 2021 in Las Vegas.

Amid his tour, the One Direction star was recently left red-faced when a fan propositioned him during his Belgium gig, sending fans in overdrive.

During a break from singing, the English pop star stopped to have a chat with the crowd, as he cheekily pointed to a fan and asked her name.

The fan asked twice if he was referring to her, and Harry joked smirking: ‘You? You!’

The lucky fan girl said her name was Lorraine, to whom he replied with a grin on his face: ‘Lorraine is fine. I mean, it’s not that difficult in English.’

‘I know some of us are terrible, but we can handle Lorraine,’ Harry continued joking.

The As It Was hitmaker went on to incite the crowd and said to ‘make some noise for Lorraine’.

The fan then told him how she was turning 27 the following day, and Harry then asked her if she had ‘any big dreams’ for her 27th.

To what was probably a ‘you’ answer, Harry immediately blushed and turned around as he got flustered.

The Sign Of The Time singer also couldn’t contain the cheeky laugh to that point – and walked around the stage shaking his head hilariously.

‘Scandalous, Lorraine!’, he replied with a grin on his face.

The viral clip caused a storm on social media, and fans were quick to comment on the cheeky interaction between him and the fan.
