Kerry Katona has slammed her first husband Brian McFadden and claimed their marriage was ‘all fake and phoney’.
The Atomic Kitten star, 42, met the Westlife singer, 43, in 1999 and they tied the knot three years later.
The couple were married from 2002 until 2006 and share daughters Molly, 21 and Lilly-Sue, 20.
In a new interview with The Mirror she said: ‘Obviously first marriage I thought it would last forever, I just went along with it. It was just fake, it wasn’t real, it wasn’t meant to be – it wasn’t what I wanted, it was all fake and phoney.’
Since Kerry’s daughters are now adults she revealed there isn’t much need to see Brian anymore.

Kerry added: ‘Not seen him since [Molly’s 21st birthday] because the girls are grown up now, we’ve got no reason to talk.’
She added that her children have closer relationships with her new partner, fiancé Ryan Mahoney, claiming: ‘Not that we really talked, we never really had that kind of close relationship, they’ll ring Ryan before they ring Brian. If they need money, they ring Ryan.’
‘That’s just how it is, he’s got his own little family now, Ryan pays for Molly’s car insurance. Molly and Ryan have such a great relationship, it’s funny when they’re together.’
Kerry has five children from her previous three marriages and is now newly engaged to her fitness instructor fiancé Ryan Mahoney.
As well as Molly and Lilly-Sue, Kerry shares Heidi, 16, and son Max, 14, with Mark Croft and she has a daughter Dylan-Jorge, nine, with the late George Kay.
Brian was married to Kerry and later to Vogue Williams but both marriages failed.
He married Vogue in 2012- but their marriage was also unsuccessful.
They parted ways in 2015 after just three years of marriage and is now preparing to walk down the aisle for the third time with PE teacher Danielle Parkinson.
Brian became a father again in 2021 when he and Danielle welcomed their baby daughter Ruby through IVF.

Kerry recently revealed that her mother Sue sold her wedding rings from her Brian on eBay after they fell out.
After their divorce, Kerry passed on her wedding bands to her mum and hoped one day her two daughters would have them.
However, Sue had other plans after the mother and daughter fell out over money.
Writing in her OK! column, Kerry said: ‘She once said that she was keeping them for her daughters, which I understand as I wanted my girls to have my wedding rings, just so they had something from their parents being in love.
