William Tyrrell’s millionaire foster father has listed for sale a child-sized wetsuit which is believed to have once belonged to the missing boy.
The 80cm-long swimsuit is being offered for sale on Gumtree for just $10 and is described as being hardly used.
Daily Mail Australia has been told the blue and black wetsuit, which was briefly pulled from the online marketplace this week, belonged to William.
The chilling listing has been revealed after the latest dramatic twist in William’s case, with police handing a new brief of evidence to prosecutors recommending his foster mum be charged with perverting the course of justice and interfering with a corpse.
The 57-year-old – who along with the boy’s foster father cannot be named for legal reasons – has since released a statement saying she has always maintained that she ‘has nothing to do with’ the disappearance of then three-year-old William in 2014.
Through a statement issued by Sydney solicitor Sharon Ramsden, she urged the Director of Public Prosecutions ‘expeditiously’ decide whether charges will be laid.

The legal letter last Wednesday stated the foster mum had ‘previously been ruled out of any wrongdoing in relation to his disappearance’.
The foster mum has been under intense scrutiny from NSW Police over the past 12 months, some nine years after William went missing.
Ms Ramsden told Daily Mail Australia she had not been instructed to ‘comment on things in general’ when asked about the wetsuit, saying ‘I don’t know anything’ about the item.
Following the bombshell last week, both foster parents bunkered down in their North Shore home for most of the weekend. William’s foster father was spotted going out to Bunnings for supplies with the foster mother emerging for a short drive.
William went missing from his foster grandmother’s home in Kendall, on the NSW Mid North Coast, on September 12, 2014.
Despite a massive manhunt, a lengthy police investigation and an inquest, no charges have been laid against anyone and no trace of the boy has been found.
The recommendation that William’s foster mum be charged relates to a theory police have been investigating since 2021, that he may have fallen from the balcony at his foster grandmother’s home and that his foster mother covered it up.
Any decision on whether to proceed with charges being laid is up to the DPP.
Daily Mail Australia is not suggesting the foster mother is guilty of having a role in William’s disappearance.

Last year, William’s foster parents listed dozens of items for sale on Gumtree days after they were charged with the offences of stalking and intimidation, which relates to a child who is not William.
Items put up for sale include children’s bikes and car seats, tools and a water tank, furniture, car parts, machinery, jewellery, watches, electronics and office equipment.
Both foster parents have pleaded not guilty to the stalking and intimidation charges, and the foster mother applied to have the matter heard under the Mental Health Act, which was denied in Parramatta Local Court in June last year.
Magistrate Peter Feather heard that police allege the foster mother kicked a young girl while she sat on the floor and allegedly hit her with a wooden spoon in an attempt to discipline the child after she began ‘acting up’.
It is alleged the foster father ‘grabbed’ the girl about the neck and ‘physically restrained her to sit back down’.
The matter was due to be heard in court in January, but has been delayed until later in the year.
