Why American actor Patrick Wilson is relived that he didn’t have to film the latest Insidious film Down Under
Popular American actor Patrick Wilson has filmed multiple movies in Australia.
But the 50-year-old star has admitted that he’s relieved that he didn’t need to head Down Under to film his latest flick, Insidious: The Red Door.
‘If it were up to my children, we’d probably be there right now,’ he told the Herald Sun with a laugh.
‘ I got nothing but love for the Aussies but to be honest, as great as it is, I think going anywhere on the other side of the world for six months is difficult for the rest of your life,’ he continued.
‘I feel like I’ve done that flight way too much,’ the star finished.

Original cast members including Aussie favourite Rose Byrne and Andrew Astor and Lin Shaye are also back for the fifth instalment in the Insidious franchise.
Wilson shares two boys with Dagmara Dominczyk, famed for her role as Karolina in the HBO streaming hit Succession.
Rising to fame in the critically 2006 drama Little Children with Kate Winslet, Wilson has also appeared in the hit TV series Fargo (2015) and the horror franchise The Conjuring.
