Casey Donovan flaunts dramatic weight loss in a promotional photo

She recently announced she now weighs less than 100kg for the first time in her adult life. 

And Casey Donovan looked trim and terrific on Saturday as she shared a photo of herself posing backstage on the set of & Juliet the musical, in which she is currently starring.

The Australian Idol star, 34, flaunted her newly slimmed-down figure in a set of four Instagram snaps, posing confidently in a black V-neck top, skinny jeans and a leather biker’s jacket. 

Casey finished her look with a pair of stylish ankle boots. 

‘Only three weeks left of & Juliet playing [at the] Regent Theatre. Have you got your tickets? Must close 29th July. See y’all there,’ she wrote in the caption.

‘Casey you look amazing,’ one fan commented, while another gushed: ‘You look fantastic! Brains, beauty, talent.’ 

The singer plays Angelique in the comedic stage show, which is loosely inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet. 

Casey revealed in November last year she now weighs under 100 kilograms.

She winner proudly posted a photo on Facebook of her slimmed-down figure as she smiled for the camera and gave a thumbs-up.

‘I’m feeling as healthy as ever! I’m looking and feeling my best self,’ she wrote.

The Listen With Your Heart star thanked the team at Jenny Craig for helping her achieve her slimming goals.

‘One thing I’ve loved about my Jenny Craig journey so far is that it takes the second-guessing out of weight loss,’ she said.
