Joel Edgerton and partner Christine Centenera attend Wimbledon in rare appearance

Joel Edgerton and his Vogue editor partner Christine Centenera make a chic couple as they step out for a rare public appearance at Wimbledon

Joel Edgerton and Christine Centenera like to keep their private life private.

But the couple made a rare public appearance on Saturday when they headed out to enjoy watching a match of tennis at Wimbledon.

The actor, 49, was chic in a tan corduroy jacket paired with white jeans and a brown belt.

He added a white dress shirt with a few buttons undone, as well as caramel toned suede shoes and blue tinted glasses.

His Vogue editor love, 40, was on trend in a cream, oversized blazer with a fitted grey T-shirt.

Christine slung a high end purse over her arm and chose a glamorous makeup look with plum lip gloss while wearing her bob down and straightened.

The sighting comes after Christine recently replaced Edwina McCann as Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Australia.

The tastemaker, who also has her own label Wardrobe.NYC, has worked for the magazine since 2012.

She will continue to report to McCann, who was promoted to Vogue Australia’s Editorial Director and Publisher.

Christine’s first issue was in March 2023, with the red carpet regular set to change up the title.

‘After more than 10 years editing the magazine, I am thrilled Christine has agreed to expand her role and look forward to seeing the next chapter of Vogue Australia magazine’s rich history unfold,’ McCann told the Daily Telegraph last December.

‘We have worked together for more than 13 years and Christine is my natural choice to succeed me in this role.

‘While I will continue as the magazine’s editorial director and publisher, this change will allow me to focus on our expanding and successful Prestige publishing business at News Corp Australia, which also includes Conde Nast titles GQ Australia and Vogue Living.’

Centenera, who will continue to be based in Australia, the UK and the US, added: ‘I love being in close proximity to the extraordinary photographers and people that we work with on the pages – anywhere in the world.

‘Wherever I go people love Australia and I’m proud to be an Australian abroad.’

Meanwhile, Joel revealed that he and Christine had welcomed twin babies together in an interview with Oprah Daily in May last year.

He also confessed he’d been ‘very nervous’ he’d miss the babies’ births in Sydney, because he was working in Queensland at the time.

They’re the first children for the notoriously private couple, who started dating back in 2018.
