Disgraced celebrity chef Pete Evans makes return the kitchen after being cancelled for Neo-Nazi meme

He’s back! Disgraced celebrity chef Pete Evans looks unrecognisable as he makes a return the kitchen in a cooking clip after he was ‘cancelled’ over a string of controversies

Disgraced celebrity chef Pete Evans is back in the kitchen after being out of the spotlight for several years.

The one time star of Channel Seven’s My Kitchen Rules appeared in a new cooking video on Instagram on Monday.

Wearing a kitchen apron over a white T, the 50-year-old prepared to BBQ some sausages.

Evans talked up sausages as a ‘great invention’ as he prepared a Mojo sauce recipe for the meat.

‘One of my all time favourite dishes to eat is the humble sausage,’ he said in the clip.

‘And the reason is, I think they are the best human invention ever – the perfect ratio of fat to good quality protein.’

The former My Kitchen Rules judge looked worlds away from his days as a clean cut TV star in the clip.

Evans now sports a bizarre mohawk and undercut hair style.

The outspoken former celebrity appeared comfortable in front of the camera,  re-calling his days as a popular judge on MKR.

Evans has assumed a low profile since he dropped 15 sponsors and companies in the space of 48 hours in November 2020, after posting a neo-Nazi meme on social media.

He has faced a string of controversies over the past few years.

The once popular TV star has attracted scrutiny for peddling anti-vaccine conspiracies, to being fined $25,000 for spruiking a light machine which he claimed helped cure Covid.

In May 2020, it was announced that Pete had parted ways with Channel Seven after 10 years as a judge on My Kitchen Rules alongside Manu Feildel and guest judge Colin Fassnidge.

It effectively marked his break from the mainstream after years of flirting with off-the-wall ideas during his tenure at the network.

Free from the contractual constraints of mainstream network television, Evans began spouting his non-scientific beliefs about vaccines and the Covid-19 pandemic on social media.

In July, 2020, Evans sparked outrage when he falsely claimed that Covid-19 was a ‘f**king hoax’ and that the pandemic ‘doesn’t compare to what is happening in the world on a large scale’.

In May 2021, he was slapped with a $80,000 fine for trying to cash in again on Covid by flogging more fake treatments online.

It was the second time he ran foul of authorities after previously being fined $25,000 for trying to sell his so-called BioCharger for $15,000 a time on Facebook.

He insisted the light could cure COVID-19 and protect users from infection – but had no evidence to support the wild claims.
