Gwyneth Paltrow has sparked uproar among her Instagram followers after revealing her ‘horrific sun damage’ in a topless selfie while enjoying a getaway with her husband Brad Falchuk.
The 50-year-old Goop founder took to Instagram to share a series of snaps from her family trip – however, one of the photos caught her followers’ eyes for all the wrong reasons.
In the selfie, Gwyneth could be seen sporting some sunglasses while lounging next to Brad, 52. But while the health guru intended it to be a sweet snap, Instagram users were quick to call out the self-styled health guru for the state of her skin.
Dozens of users shared comments about Gwynnie’s décolletage and arms, both of which had evidence of sun spots – with many accusing the Goop founder of hypocrisy by showing off such severe ‘damage’ despite building an entire brand around the concept of health and wellness.

In the past, Gwyneth was slammed for her sunscreen application after she shared her technique in a beauty video for Vogue.
She was blasted by dermatologists and estheticians alike after she revealed that she only applies SPF to her ‘nose and the area where the sun really hits’ while detailing her daily health and wellness routine for the magazine’s YouTube channel.
The health guru admitted that she is ‘not a head-to-toe slatherer of sunscreen’, explaining: ‘I like to put some on my nose and the area where the sun really hits,’ while dabbing the product on her nose and cheekbones.
Her casual application prompted fury from skincare experts, with New York-based dermatologist Dr. Shereene Idriss accusing Gwyneth of treating her SPF like a ‘highlighter’, while celebrity esthetician Renee Rouleau – who works with the likes of Demi Lovato and Lili Reinhart wrote on Instagram: ‘Her sunscreen game is completely ineffective.
‘Her sunscreen application is useless… barely uses any and mainly on the high points of the face.’
