I’m a professional cleaner and this is how I melt away grease and grime from my rangehood filter ‘like magic’

- She cleans rangehood filters with Tricleanium
- The cleaner melts away dirt and grease
A professional cleaner has wowed thousands with her trick for making grease and grime on rangehood filters melt away like ‘magic’.
Gabby from Kings Cleaning Co in Sydney dipped the mesh cooker filters in a sink of hot water with Tricleanium concentrated cleaner.
She held the filter in the water for just ten seconds and when she lifted it out it looked like new again with no scrubbing or wiping required.
After removing the filters which were caked with grease from the rangehood, Gabby sprinkled Tricleanium at the bottom of her sink and filled it with steaming hot water.
The cleaner simply dips the filters in the water and counts to ten before lifting them out revealing how much of the dirt had disappeared.

To clean the rest of the filters, she wipes away the grime with the water in the sink and a sponge.
‘You can smell all the fish coming off, all the bacon, all the sausages,’ she said as the water in the sink started to turn brown.
Gabby warned against leaving the filters soaking in the solution as it could damage them.
‘A top tip from a professional cleaner that uses Tricleanium, we only drop them in because that’s how fast it works,’ she said.

You don’t need to leave them soaking, why? Because it starts tarnishing all the metal. You just need to drop and pull out.’
Tricleanium can be bought at major hardware stores including Bunnings and Mitre 10 for around $21 for a 1kg bag
Gabby added those using Tricleanium should be sure to rinse all the product off afterwards as it could start oxidising and ruin the filters.
