On Saturday, the WCD Pool Sessions area continued in full force, with a gripping closing set by Reinier Zonneveld at the Pyramid Stage, and a Jamie Jones Paradise takeover on the Pool Mainstage.

Lost Frequencies, Felix Jaehn, and James Hype graced the Outdoor Mainstage, while Robin Schulz delighted fans at the Mainstage.

US Superstar Marshmello closed the Mainstage on Saturday, treating World Clubbers on his only European festival appearance in 2023.

The final day saw thousands of fans from all over enjoy the sun at the Outdoor Mainstage as German rap stars Capo, Vega, and Farid Bang gave stellar performances before Germany legend Scooter closed stage with an insane show.

Claptone’s Masquerade imprint hosted the Frankfurt Berg Stage, alongside stars like Hannah Wants, Andhim, and WADE, while Marcel Dettman, Kölsch and Peggy Gou b2b Ryan Elliot dominated the action on the WCD Pool Sessions Mainstage.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline before his set, James Hype said: ‘I’m excited to be here, I’ve got a later set time than before and get to perform to more people than ever before.

The British DJ and music producer shot onto the music scene with platinum-selling, UK Top 10 debut single More Than Friends in 2017 and this year he’s returned once more with one of the biggest dance tracks of the year Ferrari.

Speaking about his career, James said: ‘My mum bought me some used turn tables when I was 15 and I’ve never stopped it’s the only job I’ve ever done.

‘I actually detach myself from the record when it’s out, I make it and it is mine and then one day I give it away to the world. Once it is out of my hands, I’m happy.’

He added: ‘There are no gatekeepers for artists to come through, you could be a 16-year-old kid in your bedroom at home and teach yourself how to make music. You don’t need a record label, you don’t need a manager, you just make it and put it on TikTok and if people resinate with it, TikTok will show it to more people then you’ll have.’

Guetta, who closed the weekend on Sunday, said: ‘I had an amazing time, I had a really really good time. I am always a little bit emotional about this. 10 years performing together, that’s a lot, and I love this. I try to be loyal to the team because they always put so much trust in me. Today was really crazy.

‘So, Happy anniversary WORLD CLUB DOME. Thank you for having me and I hope to be here for the coming 10 more years.’

Steve Aoki, who has performed at every edition in Frankfurt so far, flew in by

helicopter before playing an amazing set and praising the festival on the Friday: ‘It’s all about the experience.

‘The most important thing is: How do you enhance the experience of the people coming to the show. Bernd is always sending me these crazy ideas – cause I’ll actually do them. It’s all about exciting the visitors’. The Atlantis Edition succeeded in doing just that once again.’

BigCityBeats transformed 700,000 square meters of land into a new city district for three enchanting days of musical fantasy.

The festival venue, Deutsche Bank Park (also known as Waldstadion) is a sports arena located in the outskirts of the city.

This year’s theme was Atlantis. Throughout the festival they had various nods to the theme including trippy underwater visuals and dancers.

Clubbers lost themselves outdoors at the WCD Pool Sessions or head indoor where their favourite headliners will blast some of the biggest tracks through 1.8 million watts of sound.

Festival founder & CEO Bernd Breiter said: ‘When we started WORLD CLUB DOME 10 years ago, I would have never dreamed we’d be here. Our biggest focus was to bring the variety of club music under one roof in one festival area and to unite generations. We succeeded perfectly with this during our anniversary edition.

‘Explore what you want to explore, maybe step out of your comfort zone and explore new sounds. If you like it cool, if you don’t there’s many other stages, there’s something for everyone and that’s what it is all about, this was the vision.

‘The WORLD CLUB DOME was the result of creating a lot of other festivals and I thought club music is always in big cities so why are festivals always on the fields. I decided I wanted to bring cub music back to this city and this was Frankurt, it was developed here and Berlin.’

Becoming emotional, he added: ‘We have such a family atmosphere with the artists, we have become friends and grown from nothing into something together.

‘This is a dancefloor, the biggest in the world to bring people together!’
