- Kalvin Phillips claims Rodrigo is the worst dressed player in the Man City squad
- He named Cole Palmer as the best youngster and John Stones at the best dancer
- The England midfielder also revealed his favourite part of the Treble celebrations
Kalvin Phillips has named the best dancer in the Manchester City dressing room and revealed which part of his side’s Treble-winning celebrations he enjoyed the most.
The midfielder helped City secure the historic Treble – winning the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup during the 2022-2023 campaign.
However, Phillips – who signed from Leeds United for £45million – endured a difficult time during his first season at the club.
The 27-year-old made just 21 appearances for City last term, starting just two Premier League games for the champions.
Nevertheless, Phillips enjoyed himself during his maiden campaign and even revealed who the worst dressed player in the squad is in a hilarious round of quick-fire questions with Mail Sport.

When asked who the worst dressed member of the squad was, Phillips replied: Rodrigo. He’s got horrendous style, horrendous style. He loves it though. He thinks it’s the best.
Phillips did heap praise on Cole Palmer though. When asked who the best youngster in the Manchester City squad was, Phillips named the 21-year-old without a moment of hesitation.
Phillips also joked that the best part of City’s Treble celebrations was witnessing the state of Jack Grealish following their celebratory trip to Ibiza. The England star said: ‘There was a lot [of moments I enjoyed] but probably the state of Jack Grealish after the trip in Ibiza.’
Following on from that, Phillips was asked whether there was anything else he wanted to share from their trip to Ibiza. The 27-year-old couldn’t help but laugh before saying ‘Nothing, nothing’.
Phillips did give Mail Sport a slight insight to their Treble celebrations by crowning John Stones as the best dancer. Although, he did say Manuel Akanji was a close contender.
The hilarious interview finished with the City midfielder revealing he would be a PE teacher if he wasn’t a footballer.
