Farmer Wants a Wife’s Will Simpson and Jessica Cova share family update

Will Simpson and Jessica Cova found love on Farmer Wants A Wife last year, and now the pair have revealed an exciting update on their family. 

The lovebirds appeared on The Morning Show on Friday to talk about their baby plans and their current fur baby Clyde, the dachshund who sat in their lap.

Gushing over the little pup, they couple said they have definite baby plans for the future but are content to look after their young pup for the moment. 

‘We definitely do want to start a family. It’s definitely something we both want, but just sort of my career at the moment, we’re waiting for the right time,’ Jess, 26, said. 

As she cuddled Clyde, Jess told hosts Kylie Gillies and Matt Doran she has settled into the farming life, but wants to put her career ahead of starting a family right now.

It comes just days after Will, 28, and Jess revealed to TV Week they want to have children in the near future.

When asked about family plans, Will joked: ‘We’re just practicing at this stage.’ 

However, he added: ‘We talk about it, and we’ve been talking about it lately, just how we want our future to progress, like we do want a family that’s sort of a non-negotiable it’s just a matter of when and the timing of Jess’ career.’

Nurse Jess then chimed in, as she said that having children ‘will happen’. 

The happy couple have already made a major commitment together, as they adopted dachshund puppy Clyde George Simpson. 

Just a few weeks after Farmer Wants A Wife filming wrapped up last year, Jess moved to Will’s farm in Berriwillock, Victoria.

It comes just days after Will and Jess revealed to TV Week they want to have children in the near future

In March, they celebrated their first anniversary together as Jess shared a heart-warming video to her Instagram which featured romantic clips of their relationship. 

She captioned it: ‘Our first lap around the sun. Thank you for being you.

‘I’m so proud of how far we have come and what we have achieved in 12 months. I’m so thankful for your unconditional love and support.

‘You really make me feel like I’m the luckiest girl in the world. Cheers to us Willy boy. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness, crazy love and amazing memories! Love you.’
